What: GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!

[Sometime, just a few moments ago, was a certain ex-deity discovering our newest roommate, curled up as an adorable fox in the corner. Now, most people may have gone DAWWWW or tiptoed, or even asked if we had a new pet.

Instead, this particular resident, turned into a tiny, fast land squid, and poked the fox on the nose, MADE WAVY NYAH NYAH MOTIONS and bolted.

...

Fast forward 1.5 minutes, and the sole chair of the apartment is overturned, at least a few new paint prints all over and the cacophony of a fox chasing an annoyingly fast little thing all over is what. Sparkles is probably waking up to.

[Becca tapes up a large wall calendar on the wall outside Apartment A. It's decorated with pretty drawings, and holds a whole year, divided into months. The first day of the year coincides with the first of the arrivals to Thusia. The equinoxes and solstices are also marked on the calendar. In the middle of spring, there's a day marked 'Dellen's Day'. Tomorrow is marked 'Kain's Game Day'. Becca looks proud of herself, and sticks around to answer any questions or soak up her rightfully earned praise. (Such an ego, Becca!)]

[There is... a thing currently navigating the hallway. It's about person-sized, mostly birdlike, except with deer-like legs and hooves, and wooden antlers. And no eyes.

Hopping casually on its hooves like it has business being an obvious incarnation of Nature smack in the middle of NatureKillers HQ.

Clearly everything about this is an excellent decision.]

What: AN EXPLOSION

[While other apartments might be taking a break from the tasks of the day, getting that much needed moment of rest, Apt E has better ideas. Ideas that apparently involve small explosions. The apartments on either side of them may feel a slight tremor at the sound of detonation.

Inside the apartment, Scowl is proudly admiring his handiwork: a roughly door-sized hole blown in the back wall of the apartment, connecting it to the freshly cleared apartment behind them.]

Fucking perfect. Let's get that door on the other entrance now.

[After gossiping for a while, the Shrine room door opens. But some of the gods themselves are still hanging around! Which kind of suggests they are open to some general meet and greet, or just conversations.]

[so basically, a recovering from first-day severe injuries masked ninja (because unlike the icon shows, he is wearing a now-blood-stained headband tilted over his left eye) has managed to walk (re: limp) himself to this place before taking a seat, a questionable book in hand, and though it's open it may or may not appear that he's reading it. after all, he hasn't turned a page in almost twenty minutes...]

[Maria is coming into apartment sparkles with a TON of food. Since she thought it'd be nice for everyone to have a meal together.]

[So Apartment Sparkles how do you feel like living up to your name? It is hella shiny in here for a moment before Rosie appears lying on the floor, seemingly asleep. This may ping Chrono (and to a lesser extent Razzy) as extremely painful. Whoops!]

What: Becca is phobic of alcohol. And there's a boozy party going on. This is a bad combination. Eventually she gets spooked and runs out into nature, where she gets killed.

[ By the end of Day 17, everyone's hard work and efforts have resulted in three new doors, sealing off the last rooms in the second hallway. Hooray, new rooms! ]

[ Though one of these doors has a label that's a little more worrisome than the others. If you find smiley faces instead of letters worrisome. ]

What: New Year's Party

[There is an assortment of junk food and drinks - both alcoholic and not (though more alcoholic ones) - set up in Apartment C. A pot or two of Aella's cooking are set up as well, courtesy of the animals they slaughtered and, of course, Aella.

There is also a coffee machine (labeled APT. D) with some coffee if people are so inclined.

There are a couple of signs near the doors and near the food reading:

NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY! Day 17 is December 31^st for me, so I thought a party would be fun! This party is in honour of all of the gods! Except Zhen Ji, because he's a punk who needs a shirt, and Henrietta, since she doesn't like loud noises. If you're going to do stupid things, dedicate it to Zhen Ji so he can restock the junk food!! I am preemptively dedicating all hangovers to Henrietta! DON'T STEAL FOOD OR DRINKS!!! It was hard to get enough for a party! If you want to take some for yourself and your friends, bring something to trade! ＼(＾▽＾*) E N J O Y ! (*＾▽＾)／

What: So. Someone got a hold of the spraypaint for a moment again.

[What you may find, when coming back from hunting, or wandering out from the shrine is... a very interesting use of glittery pink spraypaint.

A rather unusually neat square had been drawn on the floor, which makes the few large splatters of paint around it seem a little odd. On the wall next to the box on the floor, another has been painted on, with an arrow pointing to it.

Under that, in much smaller script, someone started to write EIZ-_____. Whatever was going to be said there seems to have been interrupted violently.]

[Ptou sits, very primly, looking downright innocent in the box. Next to him, a practical stormcloud of FEELS brews over the tiny demon.]
