[So in case you have been hiding up on the fourth floor and don't know what's going on, let's recapp!

Level 3 is flooding, though community efforts are so far keeping the damage fairly minimal. Walls have been erected and water is being pumped over them to keep the residential area of floor three down to only a few inches of water. On the other though, it's pushing two feet, and with the rains still going, that number will only keep climbing. Still, if your lived on level 3 and wanted to move your stuff upstairs, chances are water damage was fairly negligible.

Level 4 is looking a little crowded! What with all the people displaced from level 3. Including the gods who have relocated their shrines to near the fountain. The clinic is taking on injured or just displaced, and of course there is always the QQ inn, and Sparkles in building A are generally pretty friendly. But failing that level 4 does have quite a bit of empty space.

If you were around earlier you might have showed up to hear about the results of level 2 exploration. But if you're around later it will be hard to miss the brightly colored notices that have been plastered up all around the area (including the bulletin board) inviting ~everyone~ to a slumber party in Luna's name at apartment Beta. There will be free food and pillow forts!!

Meanwhile, outside a huge swathe of trees have been cleared out in front of the HQ, there were explosions, and even in the low light of the evening you can still see the murky water outside has a little extra sparkle to it.]

When: Day 55 - Noon
Where: Starting at the shrine room, BUT WILL BE EVERYWHERE SOON ENOUGH.
What: Something Unfortunate

[You were probably enjoying lunch, all nice and peaceful like.]

[But then there's something like a distant BOOM from the shrine room. Really, it's only those close to it who would hear it. Even within the shrine room, it sounds distant, like it's from another room (or being heard through a shrine).]

[But that might not bother anyone much for within moments, something viney is starting to grow around the shrine room and within a minute, it'll be going out into the halls and it won't be long until it grows. It's far to fast to even hope to stop it before it's already getting everywhere.]

[The walls, the floor, the ceiling. Anything not moving will find the plant growing on it. Within a few minutes, buds will form on them. And a few minutes more, it'll blossom into a beautiful orchid like plant. And soon the petals of the flower are changing colors. Why, it's the Kaleidoscope Blossom! A plant that hasn't been seen for a while ICly.]

[However, be careful in watching the plant change colors. Stare too long and something starts to happen...]

((OOC: Event START! It will last for an IC day. Of course the event is opt in and opt out. For those who opt in, your character just needs to watch the plant for a while and they'll suddenly feel drunk/lose their inhibitions/just feel like riding the bad decision dinosaur. Exactly how they're affected and how strongly is up to your interpretation. It is their SIGHT getting them drunk, so their normal alcohol tolerance (or the fact they don't consume liquids) need not apply.

For those curious, yes, you can still make booze from the plant. Just be careful, because it's gonna keep wanting to grow forever. The booze is SUUUUUPER strong. Also, no sting, just HYPNOTIC.))

[Signing the petition will have one of four effects on your character (Player's choice):

1. Desire to tell secrets—both personal as well as the secrets of others
2. Desire to answer questions truthfully
3. Desire to answer questions untruthfully
4. Desire to ask questions about things they may not necessarily want to know about...

“Desire” is up to interpretation. It will mostly be a subtle effect; just a gentle push bringing thoughts that are usually in the NO VERBALIZING category into the well... maaaaaybe I can say that category. But the effect may be stronger the more it is engaged. So the more one tells secrets the stronger the urge to tell more secrets etc.

Effects will last 1 IC day. Any characters trying to warn other characters will find themselves not able to speak of it or write it down. It is possible for the clipboard to be taken down for more mobile petition signing if anyone cares to; another will appear in its place.
