[So you take a gander upstairs, you might spot a SUPER CUTE BLOND GIRL in a SUPER CUTE loligoth outfit. Complete with slightly curly blond hair in a pony tail, and face done up pale make up, wearing silver dangly earlings and silver bracelets. SHE IS SO CUTE YOU GUYS!!!

And if she spots you she will eagerly come say hi. BE SPOTTABLE!! IT'S FOR THE GOOD OF MANKIND!!]

((SPOILERS: Kida is dressed up like a girl and hitting on people (ideally straight men but lets face it he'll hit on anyone) to challenge people's BLAND CULTURAL NORMS in Ur'ghaste's name. His intention is VERY MUCH to push comfort zones, but he's really a chill guy at heart and isn't going to torment anyone too badly.

Also as for his CROSS DRESSING SKILL! He could absolutely pass for a cute girl unless you are looking for it. His falsetto isn't perfect, he IS wearing a stuffed bra, his figure is a little too wiry. I leave it up to you completely if you think your characters would notice right off, later down the line, or not at all.))

What:

[ This morning is a fine, dripping wet, raining sort of day that I'm sure you're all used to by now. Just like the sight of the kitchens, the occasional lingering snake in the baths, and the... snake infested shrine area? Or rather, one shrine in particular looks to be their focus. ]

[ Felicia's shrine, a roulette wheel upon a pillar-inspired stand, has been knocked over, broken and shattered from the force of a particularly large vineaconda wrapping around it and squeezing it into pieces. The goddess herself remains nowhere in sight as some of the snakes proceed to swallow parts of her shrine, until there's nothing but wooden shards left... ]

[ But other than that it's a fine morning with plenty to do on your own time! ... right? ]

What: There's a new shrine started, but it isn't in the Shrine Area.

[ Two people are in the baths, and after a reluctant conversation, there's a new shrine in progress in the back of the public bath where the light reflects off the surface. It's a solid piece of stone covered in dark blue scales like roof slates with water from the waterfall diverted and dripping down it. What looks like it might become a serpent shape is started on top, and it's incredibly crude, but could be beautiful if finished --

In front of the shrine, Leo and Elliot are still sorting through collected scales among a pile. They're very careful to step on any lingering snakes or the bodies left behind other than to properly pile them together if they're deceased.]

[So after spending most of this morning and the day before constructing some green wood coffins, Kida and Flynn drag them up to level 5 to be buried. They have some extra shovels on hand if you would like to help!

But it sure is STILL RAINING, and though level 5 is actually mostly soft earth, making it a decent place for burials, the fact that it is getting slowly cleared out means there isn't as much leafy canopy to offer cover. And the ground itself sure is thoroughly soaked. It'll be a messy chore.]

Flynn-san, are you sure there isn't a god of 'make the rain please stop'?

[This morning there is a pretty girl in a pretty dress sitting on the ground, playing a lyre and humming quietly along with it. If you stop to listen, she'll keep playing for a bit, then stop to smile at you!]

[There is somebody new in the Shrine Room this morning. He's wearing a battered grey cloak with the hood half pulled up over his hair, though he shakes it back after a few moments to take a look around. His posture is tense, expression closed-off and wary.]

Either way—half buried under the noise of the shifting of sheets or the clanging on pans, there's a howl, far off in the distance. Almost as soon as you hear it the sounds starts to fade, like a dream... Maybe that's all it was.

It sounded lonely.]

[Sometimes a goddess gets bored. No really, that's the only reason you might find yourself waking up in someone else's bed. Or covered in sparkly pretty princess make-up with your hair in braids and ribbons. Or your hand covered in shaving foam and suddenly a ticklish sensation over your nose. Any number of pranks really, maybe even more than just one, she is so bored.]

Where: Starting at the shrine room, BUT WILL BE EVERYWHERE SOON ENOUGH.
What: Something Unfortunate

[You were probably enjoying lunch, all nice and peaceful like.]

[But then there's something like a distant BOOM from the shrine room. Really, it's only those close to it who would hear it. Even within the shrine room, it sounds distant, like it's from another room (or being heard through a shrine).]

[But that might not bother anyone much for within moments, something viney is starting to grow around the shrine room and within a minute, it'll be going out into the halls and it won't be long until it grows. It's far to fast to even hope to stop it before it's already getting everywhere.]

[The walls, the floor, the ceiling. Anything not moving will find the plant growing on it. Within a few minutes, buds will form on them. And a few minutes more, it'll blossom into a beautiful orchid like plant. And soon the petals of the flower are changing colors. Why, it's the Kaleidoscope Blossom! A plant that hasn't been seen for a while ICly.]

[However, be careful in watching the plant change colors. Stare too long and something starts to happen...]

((OOC: Event START! It will last for an IC day. Of course the event is opt in and opt out. For those who opt in, your character just needs to watch the plant for a while and they'll suddenly feel drunk/lose their inhibitions/just feel like riding the bad decision dinosaur. Exactly how they're affected and how strongly is up to your interpretation. It is their SIGHT getting them drunk, so their normal alcohol tolerance (or the fact they don't consume liquids) need not apply.

For those curious, yes, you can still make booze from the plant. Just be careful, because it's gonna keep wanting to grow forever. The booze is SUUUUUPER strong. Also, no sting, just HYPNOTIC.))

[ Right on cue, as promised last night, the pedestal disappears and instead is replaced with three screens suspended by lines of shadows stretching down from the ceiling. Each screen is labeled with a different header: INSTRUCTIONS, TASK LIST, and MATCHES. ]

[ There is also a row of sleek looking office chairs lined up by the screens, but in place of legs is a single pillar of shadow. ]

[ The common area seems a little clearer of monkeys than it did yesterday. ]

[ This would be because (in addition to all the monkey stabbings going on) since early last afternoon one knight has been opening the door to the outside, herding monkeys out the door, then closing it again before anything could come in. He and his armor are pretty scratched up by this point and he's looking pretty tired, but he remains diligent!! ]

It would seem there is, at least, an end to these creatures.

There's also a cheerful albino woman overseeing everything, apparently eager to greet and speak with everyone who comes by, while her husband lurks like a creeper in the background]

This may seem odd, but would you tell me something about your home world?
