The Plot Strikes Back
Who: Coren & Everyone.
When: Day 107, Early Evening.
Where: Shrine Room.
What: Plot & Mingle.
[ Despite the memory shenanigans that have been happening the last few days, today has been exceedingly quiet. Perhaps some were nearby to witness the events that took place and returned the memories to those who had yet to find them. Some items with memories in them still might remain behind to be dealt with on another day, but there are more important matters to attend to.
Tonight there's certainly a rustling in the hallways, a flapping of wings. You have never seen so many birds in Thusia before, and they seem completely benign. In every inhabited hallway of the headquarters, there are large and small birds flying to the nearest door, tapping on it with their beaks, and leaving notes to meet on the fourth floor at the shrine room. Where the birds won't or can't go, there are illusions of signs requesting your presence for an urgent matter regarding your home and your memories, trails of light that lead you like an illuminated map from where you are toward the shrine room. If you shut your door on them or tell them to go away, neither will invade further. Aside from the birds roaming the headquarters and the commotion in the shrine room, life goes on. ]
[ Waiting | The Meeting: 2, 3 + 3.1 + 4, Final Questions. ]
( ooc: For those who didn't get to participate in the memory event end, we had to cut things a bit short, but we promise a more open end next time. We didn't get to do nearly as much as we had planned. )

Waiting - Shrine Room
[ Coren is waiting in the room, standing away from the other shrines. As birds come in from their errands, they take something from Coren's fingers and drop down to resting on the nearest surface or person, if allowed, to eat their treat. As illusions fly into the area, they drop down rapidly into nothing where Coren is resting against the windowsill. For those who are familiar with his true appearance, he looks closer to how he did on The Long Night and there is no way to tell anything is strange about his eyes. He seems to be waiting. ]
Take a seat if you'd like.

Meeting
Before I begin, It might be in poor taste to be asked by a god, but is everyone alright? Kessex will not be meddling in your memories for awhile. [ Coren casts a glance toward the other shrines, at the newest one with a slight roll of his eyes. ]
If you wish to yell at him, even though I do not advise it, he's decided to make his shrine present here.
Re: Meeting
You have to understand many of the people who live here have had their memories stolen from them on at least one occasion. Even if that is his practice, or he is your friend, at least acknowledge that it's violating. Yelling is the least they could really do.
Re: Meeting
Re: Meeting
I don't advise it for your safety. Kessex is not a weak god.

Meeting ( Part 2 )
My name is Coren. In this world, I am a god of many things, avian creatures being one of them. The birds you see before you have flown quite far to observe possible threats to this base, and I've gone to confirm them for myself. We've returned with unfortunate news to share, but I believe it's better not to keep secrets. As many of you know, there is a large group of red lizagons on the upper level and roof of this building. Some of you have worked out a tentative agreement with them it seems. But there are other lizagons in the rainforest here, and there can, and will be even more than that...
[ He pauses for a moment, considering his words and how best to explain..]

Meeting ( Part 3 )
[ After a moment, Coren raises his hand in a sideways gesture, palm toward the ceiling. The illusion that follows sweeps in through the walls of the room and fully fills it. It's completely translucent for their benefit, and it's quite a large view of the base from the sky, showing just how far the second building is, and the great expanse of the forest. As it swirls about the room, it passes through or over everyone so they have a clear view. ]
Everything you see belongs to a great bird, a Matriarch and one of the only of her kind. She has existed since ancient days on this planet and this is her forest now. She is more than twice the size of this building and any other around it. Even if every single one of you gave me energy to confront her, I could not force her to move, and she is a creature under my domain. If I can't do it, none of the gods here can. The cost and sacrifice would be too great.
[ As he continues, a likeness of the matriarch swoops across the sky similar to how she did weeks ago when barely anyone paid attention to the huge shadow flying overhead that rattled the windows. She is enormous, the building looks like it would be one of her eggs in comparison. ]
She and the red lizagons in this region have a commensal relationship. They feed off her scraps and ride on as transport from region to region. Usually the lizagons devour what they can and move to the next area when she passes again. She can, and will, bring more lizagons to this space since she has designated it her nesting grounds. This is a never-ending supply of creatures that have no problem attempting to eat you.... as I'm sure you know.
These lizagons will undoubtedly absorb all the resources here, especially the larger ancient ones who might have other lizagons following them.
[He paces when he explains, looking out somewhere over the crowd. The illusions shift as he tries to show a visualization of what he means for those who might not be able to hear him. Another pause as the illusions swoop around on their own like a miniature world. Coren has stilled. ]
