[ Despite the memory shenanigans that have been happening the last few days, today has been exceedingly quiet. Perhaps some were nearby to witness the events that took place and returned the memories to those who had yet to find them. Some items with memories in them still might remain behind to be dealt with on another day, but there are more important matters to attend to.

Tonight there's certainly a rustling in the hallways, a flapping of wings. You have never seen so many birds in Thusia before, and they seem completely benign. In every inhabited hallway of the headquarters, there are large and small birds flying to the nearest door, tapping on it with their beaks, and leaving notes to meet on the fourth floor at the shrine room. Where the birds won't or can't go, there are illusions of signs requesting your presence for an urgent matter regarding your home and your memories, trails of light that lead you like an illuminated map from where you are toward the shrine room. If you shut your door on them or tell them to go away, neither will invade further. Aside from the birds roaming the headquarters and the commotion in the shrine room, life goes on. ]

I could put more televisions around the base for broadcasts with audio.

What's a television? Is that what Eizon's sign thing is called?

Zexion showed me that the thing you guys did that lets us all talk to one another put letters in my brain too, but I can't tell what people write unless he uses his magic to make them actually stand out.

That and reading is slow...

It's a screen of almost any size that displays moving pictures with sound. It doesn't reach into your brain though, sorry.

Kain could possibly invent something that could read all written text out loud for you?

Could he really?

Invention is his domain. Before ... all this... the people of Thusia and gods had worked together so that blindness was no longer something anyone was born with.

I'm sure he would enjoy the challenge.

[snorts] I don't mind being blind; it's everyone else who has the problem of doing things in dumb ways. I mean, it's not like they can see either when it's dark or something.

[ Is it in bad taste to laugh before talking about something so serious? Maybe. So he's mum but he has to clear his throat to hide it. ]

When it's dark, I glow. There is no dumb way to do something if it gets things done.

I guess so, but when you can't use something it seems pretty dumb.

It would be stupid to hand you something if you couldn't use it, yes.

Exactly. And a few people here still can't read. Becca was teaching her boyfriend how.
