The Plot Strikes Back
Who: Coren & Everyone.
When: Day 107, Early Evening.
Where: Shrine Room.
What: Plot & Mingle.
[ Despite the memory shenanigans that have been happening the last few days, today has been exceedingly quiet. Perhaps some were nearby to witness the events that took place and returned the memories to those who had yet to find them. Some items with memories in them still might remain behind to be dealt with on another day, but there are more important matters to attend to.
Tonight there's certainly a rustling in the hallways, a flapping of wings. You have never seen so many birds in Thusia before, and they seem completely benign. In every inhabited hallway of the headquarters, there are large and small birds flying to the nearest door, tapping on it with their beaks, and leaving notes to meet on the fourth floor at the shrine room. Where the birds won't or can't go, there are illusions of signs requesting your presence for an urgent matter regarding your home and your memories, trails of light that lead you like an illuminated map from where you are toward the shrine room. If you shut your door on them or tell them to go away, neither will invade further. Aside from the birds roaming the headquarters and the commotion in the shrine room, life goes on. ]
[ Waiting | The Meeting: 2, 3 + 3.1 + 4, Final Questions. ]
( ooc: For those who didn't get to participate in the memory event end, we had to cut things a bit short, but we promise a more open end next time. We didn't get to do nearly as much as we had planned. )

Re: Meeting ( Part 4 )
I won't build some ostentatious shrine where I'm not wanted. This is your home.
.. You'll talk to me, even though I'm a god. Are you not from the same places as many of the others?
Re: Meeting ( Part 4 )
But yeah, I'll talk to you. There isn't any reason not to.
Also try not to take it too personally. This was about the same reaction when Alby revealed the existence of nature gods. Sucks to be the messenger.
Re: Meeting ( Part 4 )
[Agreeing nod. ]
I'm the only messenger there could be. We are not omnipresent. I only know of her because she is a bird, and that is one of my domains.
Re: Meeting ( Part 4 )
No offense, but you seem very--- how should I say it-- delicate for a higher power.
Re: Meeting ( Part 4 )
I don't throw power around when I don't need to. It's a waste of energy that can be put toward better things.
As for..'delicate'.. I am a bit weaker than other gods here. Ygin, for example, will devour other gods if it chooses to. That's not something I am interested in.
Re: Meeting ( Part 4 )
[FILING THAT AWAY for later use. Lavi briefly entertains the thought of Ygin eating most of the missing pantheon. Is that why their numbers have thinned lately?]
No no. I mean I was thinking delicate in another sense.
You seemed shocked and upset by things that... well, if you were around for the fall of the original Thusian civilization, you would have been exposed to before.

Re: Meeting ( Part 4 )
...
Held up.
[ Coren stands and shifts away, as if that was the last question he'd answer on that matter. ]
Re: Meeting ( Part 4 )
I just wanted to point out that there have been quite a few people who've really been used and mistreated by various beings claiming to be gods, so there's going to be a barrier in overcoming that attitude.
It'll just take time. Like most things.
