Who: Blaze and people
When: Day 21, afternoon
Where: Apartment O and the hall nearby
What: this looks unsafe...

[there are a lot of stray materials, wood and bits of plants spread out on the floor in the hall along with several frogs in a very crudely made cage of twigs. Blaze is just sitting and staring at the mess around him]

I don't think I want to find out how flammable those frogs are...

Near the water. They seem to like it where it's wet.

[She finishes up her writing about the frogs and their habitat and closes it.]

Depends on whether or not it makes a good story.

Stick around, it might just. I haven't exactly figured out how to get them airborne yet. And then there's the matter of keeping them in the balloon once it's up.

Why don't you just put the balloon on top of the cage?

It's too heavy. And not very well made, it could fall apart pretty easily.

There's a way to work it, I know there is. I just have to figure it out.

[takes out blank paper that isn't part of her book and starts sketching a jungle-themed steampunk hot air balloon, complete with a bipedal frog wearing a pilot's hat and goggles]

He just needs a jacket.

[She giggles and adds a little bomber jacket for him, and a firefly with goggles as a co-pilot.]

[She pulls out her book to make a few notes in pencil, then she takes a deep breath and pokes her finger into the cage. The way her eyes are pressed tight, it's clear she believes him. She's doing an experiment.]

Wait! I don't know the full effect of it yet!

How else are we gonna find out?

[I'm gonna pet a frog!]

Maybe after we see if Crown survives this. I honestly didn't even think something could be wrong before. I don't want to be responsible for two deaths.
