[It's a kind of overcast today. Lucky it hasn't actually rained yet!]

[And there's this lady, waiting in the Common Area, watching the clouds rather impassively. Or maybe slightly annoyed/worried, depending how well you can read linefaces. There are two cases at her feet. And there is a white board at her side.]

['LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR WEATHER MONITORING STATION SET UP' written in bold letters. 'Yes, you will receive payment for your work' written in smaller text under it.]

[This is very possible. Though it's less licky and just wagging it's tail at you.]

[puts it down and gives it a couple pats on the head before checking the compass to see where it goes]

[Hey, I'm all wet and licked by foxthings, and I've been silently following you all along. '-']

Looks like it's this way! [following the pointer]

[For reference, the fox thing is indeed following you.]

[You continue on. A few more of the little animals come out of the burrows as you pass by, acting like the first. They're sniffing at you, some trying to lick, and overall being very friendly, curious, and probably acting like in the way pets that keep trying to move between your feet while walking.]

[However, the clouds are starting to darken, but that’s not all that changes. The little creatures around you start to change too. Their fur seems to weave together on their bodies, making it smooth and sleek, and turning into a slate blue color.]

Whoa look, they have natural raincoats! [trying to catch one so Toph can touch it]

[Staaaaring and approaching the other two, cautiously.]

[Staring down at foxthings. WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT and why is it CUTE.]

I think it might, the sky just got a lot darker. We should probably hurry.

[Attempting to p-pet cute thing while looking up at the sky. Is it going to rain? '-']

[It hasn't rained yet, but looks close to it.]

[Ooooo, pets. It falls over on it's side, paws batting at his hands playfully.]

...It is going to rain.

[Okay, kind of awkwardly picking it up with fingertips and examining weird cute thing more closely. '-']

[It's gonna lick your face if you give it half the chance.]

[Also because VAMPIRE, you can probably notice the fur it still subtly moving even though the movement is no longer visible.]

[I-I guess I'm having my face licked. ;_;]

...The fur...is still moving.

Figure it out while we're walking.

[Well, while you guys figure that out I'm gonna try to see where to set up this stuff]

[You are close to the location on the map, (if you're reading the map at all), but there’s a problem. You can see the top of the hill for where the weather station is to go. But surrounding the hill is a number of trees, with a dense thicket around them, and a certain brown and red ivy curled in amongst it. There's no obvious way through the trees without getting caught in it all.]

[For Toph, the little tunnels faded, disappearing deep in the ground. But near the tree, there are a few large holes. Like person big, though they're mostly obscured by foliage for the seeing people. It slopes down deeper in the ground at a climbable incline, heading towards the trees.]

[Before you have time to decide what to do, it begins to rain.]
