What: Long awaited meeting...

[cleared up from the events of last night and whatever earlier moments of the day, the Common Area's now sporting some tables pushed against a wall with food and drink spread out for those who would want something to munch on. opposite of this would be the masked ninja that advertised said meeting, standing in front of the windows, posture in its usual slump and seemingly lazy eye distracted by the views outside. somewhere nearby will also be that blonde people may remember as advertising the police force, pointedly standing with arms crossed, making a point to keep a CLOSE EYE on the people who attend the meeting]

Well, can't say I disagree, but--

Yuu, I don't think this world is as simple as everyone makes it out to be.

Have you talked to the people from Sabra?

That's where half the people we know come from. [But yes, he's talked to some of te ones outside it, too.]

Well, yeah, but I was talking more about the gods from Sabra that ended up as humans here. Red knows one pretty well, and he seems to think that there's something fishy going on. Or at least a bigger picture us gophers are unaware of.

... Like? [Anything valid that's not just paranoia (like he's one to talk)?]

The gods of Sabra used to get rid of the people that were no longer useful to them.

And we have on our hands a lot of people who have disappeared yet no one can find them despite numerous search parties going out.

[Oh, he sees where he's going with this.] A lot of others have been found. and people have come back on their own days after they went missing.

So you're not curious about what happens to the ones who never come back?

They're probably getting eaten by the wildlife. [Or lost.] If the gods want us to fix this place and repopulate it doesn't make sense for them to be killing anyone.

[You say that so nonchalantly...]

[Taps his chin] Unless...

[Smiles brightly] Nah, you're probably right. But it doesn't hurt to be a little paranoid in a place like this, yeah?

Not like it matters when we don't have any other options.

[Hums at that]

There are options. We just have to keep our collective eyes peeled for them.

What are our other choices? "Natures suddenly stops being dangerous"?

How about finding an exit? If there is a way in, then there must be a way out.

They took our souls. I doubt there's any way out but death. [And he's not really inclined to dying right now.]

[Le sigh] I'm worried that death isn't a way out in all honesty.

It's not if somebody revives you.

[Slight smirk] Would you revive me, Yuu? Seems like it has a pretty high cost.

[And only gets higher]

Or actually, would you want to be revived here?

I'm not planning on dying in the first place.
