[cleared up from the events of last night and whatever earlier moments of the day, the Common Area's now sporting some tables pushed against a wall with food and drink spread out for those who would want something to munch on. opposite of this would be the masked ninja that advertised said meeting, standing in front of the windows, posture in its usual slump and seemingly lazy eye distracted by the views outside. somewhere nearby will also be that blonde people may remember as advertising the police force, pointedly standing with arms crossed, making a point to keep a CLOSE EYE on the people who attend the meeting]

As long as the law is according to HER, just being FRIENDS with me is against the law, and she's made sure to punish everyone she can get a hold of that's made THAT mistake. Of COURSE she's going to go for you.

Of course I had to confront her. She's declared herself SHERIFF despite everything she's done, and nobody can say shit to her because she's the sheriff? Fuck that.

What if it turned out, just hypothetically, that except for this thing between the two of you, she could actually do a good job?

The odds of that being true are so ridiculously small I'm getting a headache just trying to consider the possibility.

Look, I don't want to see you get hurt continuing to push her.

She's going to keep fucking with me, so I kind of want to see her stripped of any power she has before she ruins my friends' lives.

I don't know about your other friends, but no matter what title she appoints herself, she can't ruin my life. So that seems like a nice excuse for you to keep taking shots at her yourself.

Why does she get a free pass, though? It's not fair.

A free pass from what?

Well like...if I took a swing at somebody, nobody'd ever want me in charge of anything. Hell a lot of people don't even think I should be in charge of the cooking for everybody. But she can attack a bunch of people for no reason other than 'she was angry' and nobody cares.

Why's it different? Why's it okay for her? What do I have to do to get a free pass where nothing I do's wrong?

It can be hard to criticize her when she's not the only one perpetuating it.

She kind of needs criticised. She's got the power to open up a pit underneath people. Anywhere. And she DOES it. For laughs. Somebody's gonna die.

I saw her open up a pit right underneath Shadow. If he weren't able to float, we wouldn't've been able to resurrect him, cause there wouldn't be a body.
