[ You've cleared out the floor most of you are sleeping. Where do you go for some rip roaring ~~maulings~~ fun now? The 4th floor? The 2nd floor? Or will you venture outside the glass doors again? ]

[Let's going the same direction]

*polite nod to her, but mostly paying attention to his surroundings*

[ And which direction is that? ]

*fourth floor!*

[ You come face to face with a thick grove of trees! They grow so tall and so densely that it's impossible to see through it. But there is a set of stairs to your right. ]

*thoughtful glance at the trees, but decides burning through them is probably a waste, and nods to the stairs*

Shall we?

[nods.

Let's go that way then]

[ You head up the stairs! It seems like an open hallway here, one side having doors one right after the other and the other side open to nature. In fact, you find yourself face to face with a hanging bunch of upside down gigantic flowers and round, dark pods of some sort. ]

*:|a....the rule here seems to be to assume that everything is dangerous. drawing a square of paper from his pocket with an odd, spiky character drawn on it.*

Best to be cautious. Stay back a bit, please.

*reaches up to place the talisman a few inches above head-height on the wall. the sigil glows for an instant before unleashing a razor-thin arc of cutting force towards the flowers and crumbling to ash.*

[watching him]

[ The flowers are sliced, knocking the pods around. The instant the pods move, they suddenly EXPLODE, sending pollen everywhere and all over both of you. ]

[ You both will now suffer severe allergy symptoms for the duration of a day. ]

*TOO SURPRISED TO SPEAK A GODWORD I GUESS though the sigil on his forehead glows white, forcing some of that cloud away from him.

annnnd then it's time for the allergy attack.*

*this takes a while, and after the initial sneezing fit is over he's still bleary and achey. ugh.

but hell if he's going to let allergies beat him on his first foray. carefully separating out some of that plant's petals, since gods are supposed to take some of them, wiping at his face, and moving on*

[ As you go further along, you catch a glimpse of green scales that disappear into an apartment not too far ahead of you. ]

*leave alone or pursue...no, he's irritated now, and the persistent headache isn't helping. going to check out that apartment, as carefully as he can.*

[ Fairy lights dot the apartment in more numbers than outside. And inside you see three green lizagons, chomping away at something you can't really make out. ]

*is probably not as quiet as he really should be, given the persistent urge to sneeze, but drawing another square of paper from his pocket..*

[ They're chomping away, though one lifts its head to immediately sniff the air upon your approach. ]

*and of course, it's at exactly that moment that the urge to sneeze becomes overwhelming.

fortunately, the paper is already in his hand; he flicks his wrist, hurling it towards the lizagons, and in midflight the sigil flares to life, erupting into an arcing blaze of lightning.*

[ The lightning jerks all the lizagons, but that doesn't stop them from abandoning their half eaten prey to go after you by the walls and the ceiling! ]

*...welp. he'd been hoping to take at least one of them out with that, but he's nothing if not quick to adapt. he barks a word, and pure force erupts from him, aiming to smash the ceiling lizagon against the far wall.*

[ The ceiling lizagon smashes back against the wall with a thud, but the wall ones are closing in with the one on your left going in for a bite. ]

*the circle on his forehead burns up as it approaches, and a lash of white light and force rips towards it as he steps back; he levels his right arm at the third lizagon, and crackling darkness flows from his fingertips, bringing bitter cold with it.*

[ The lizagon just manages to heavily graze across Deka's skin with its sharp teeth before it's sent away as well. The one on the right just closes in quickly, claws grabbing at the wall for traction. ]

*tenses his fingers, widening the wave of freezing shadow and trying to catch the right-hand beast before it gets to him; meanwhile, he's keeping an eye out for the third one.*
