We could have just lived, but we all made the same mistake, and agreed to be bound to that cursed place. The deal we struck on entering sealed our fates irrevocably. We stood defiant again those who had unmade us, who tortured us day in and day out, who saw us as nothing more than a resource to be used up and discarded.


Pyxis, all of us, we were doomed before we even met, do you understand? It only took a bit longer to catch up with me, that's all. I was simply lucky.
