Since we have become newly acquainted I will give you a short answer. While there are longer answers relating to my past and history and the people I presided over they are not to be discussed now.

In short, I loved my people fiercely.

[silent for a moment, and he's curious about the longer answers, but in the end he just smiles and nods]

That's enough of an answer for me.

In time you may hear the full story! I will be sure to tell it with the appropriate theatrics.

A ruler who views his subjects as nothing more than tools isn't a true ruler, and I wouldn't be able to respect one that doesn't love its people. That's why hearing your answer was important to me.

Yes that is exactly so. I will not take lightly to your use of them, however.

I'll be keeping these in case of emergency, if you'll ever need that power boost you mentioned. You don't have to worry about me using them in any other situation— it's a promise. People from Xing never break their word, so you can be assured that I won't, either.
