It would be impolite to inquire about the particulars when it is a private matter you have not brought up with me directly.

Space is important because it allows for comfort, and comfort is important because I will have neither one of you living in the equivalent of abject poverty when there are other alternatives available. To that end, we need to reclaim part of this building from nature: remove the plants that have overgrown the existing structure, exterminate the animals that have made that place their nest. And at the end, seal what area has been reclaimed with a door imbued with magic that will hold those forces at bay.

Should anything happen, one other thing you should know is that some number of the gods are capable of healing, and in the worst of situations, resurrection. The price for both can be high, and such alternatives should never be relied upon, but should it come to it , it is better to retreat with what can be restored over pursuing revenge.
