[ stretches out once just. TOTALLY RELIEVED TO BE IN OPEN AIR. keeping his eyes out for any movement, but his hands will start testing branches as they goes by them... ]

[ In the distance you can see movement, flashes of red amongst the trees, but nothing in your immediate area. Just trees and trees and trees growing on trees. ]

[Notes those, but doesn't react to them yet, instead directing her attention to the canopy and the spaces between nearby branches, ready to lash out if at all necessary.]

[ pauses. gauges the distance between them and the red things, then studies the branch he's holding for a minute then looks back to make sure the red things aren't closer. ]

[ Looks like they're not coming any closer! But gosh that tall clump of trees further down this large branch does seem a little closer than before. ]

FEIGN DISINTEREST AT THAT CLUMP OF TREES, gosh i feel ridiculous. but turning her head as if to keep an eye on the distant red, and watching those trees in her peripheral vision.]

[ They all seem to lead up into the same large canopy, which is dense and impossible to actually see through. ]

If they don't plan to attack, it wouldn't do to provoke them to it. But running would make us look like prey, so it's probably best to not mind them until they move again.

[ glances back at the branch ]

[nods, then shifts so she can see what Wil means as well as keep an eye on the trees.]

It'd be easiest to just break it off at the joint. I'll end up carving most of it off, anyway.
