[Well, there's someone else strolling out of the shrine room. He's rubbing his forehead like he's got a headache and squinting a lot, but looks pretty calm otherwise.]

I have pretty good powers for getting to places fast. I know that skillset is in affect still, I wouldn't get my sword otherwise. Even if there's a bunch of things in the way...

[The question is if those particularly powers are messed up too...] Could check outside.

Wouldn't be the first time. But I think tomorrow would be the earliest I'd go. No reason to rush that sort of thing before I have some proper bearings. We're not overcrowded yet.

Would be the place to start. Not sure how you don't have windows in the room. Must be a pretty crowded building.

It could be that it was the last retreat for the old people. Plants grow better in the outside, and windows would be ways in.

Are apartment buildings like castles too then?

Not normally, but this one might have been.

Oh, I could tell stories. Not about the ones here; I barely know these.

The goddesses back home have done very questionable things. If they really are manipulating destiny.

If there's anything I've learned, it's that many gods have egos.

I couldn't say. Never meant them, just dealt with some of their sadistic rules that kind of stacked the deck against their hero.

Somehow that doesn't surprise me.

Don't eat the animals or plants without getting it purified -- you can do that at the shrine over there.
