[Shakes his head.] There's only two possibilities. The other involves the King of Darkness I pissed off killing me, but he's not that merciful to be so quick and he should be sealed. And those things don't break in just a few short weeks.

Otherwise, there isn't a way to kill me besides destroying what I facilitate. Not while I'm home.

Do you have some sort of healing ability?

It's not 'healing' that's the question. It's what can 'hurt me.'

Hell, those magic weapons were the only way those guys could cause me actual harm when they killed me. And that sort of thing wouldn't be able to exist at home. If it entered, it'd be a pretty major disaster for...several worlds.

Several worlds? What kind of weapons were they?

Like I said, my world was facilitating stuff people needed in other worlds. They overlapped each other, but we were all in one space.

It's a magic power we're sensitive too, ya throw that in a place just made of what we are and it's going to cause massive havoc and that's going to mess up whatever those present are connected too.

Whole place is pretty much the same...substance. For a lack of a better word.

At least I'd avoid throttling him. I imagine most would want too.

Well, it's not like I'll have to deal with him much longer. We're expanding pretty quickly.

Not too bad a rate, considering there was just four apartments not too long ago.

And there still aren't all that many of us. The more that arrive, the faster we'll go.

At least we should be able to clear out the building. Outside might be a problem though.

Well, staying here isn't an option. Not if we want to keep moving forward.

Certainly hard to rebuild a world with just one building.

I don't care much about world building. I just don't think whatever information we need will be right here, conveniently at our fingertips.

Also true. It would be nice to have a confirmation on the intentions of these gods.

I think the fact that they took us in the first place is confirmation enough.

It's a confirmation they have intentions, not their exact ones.
