A medical kit...! That sounds good. That goddess will take good deeds as payment as well, though, so if we do something nice in her name...

All right. Next time we go out to make sure the gathering area is clear, we're dedicating the entire adventure to her. Seems simple enough. The console said she would take the bodies of man-eaters.

I asked the person that rescued us if she could get them for us, but it doesn't look like she could in the end. With any luck, there'll be something left.

Will you be fine going on your own even if it's just to retrieve the bodies?

That's true, isn't it? It looks like there's an impressive number of capable people here.

—Though while we're talking about fighting, I think this might be a good time to mention that my energy reading ability is definitely effected by this place's limits.

I don't know yet. But normally, I should have been able to tell those trees were attached to the monster above us. It's not just the presence and the position I can sense, it's the whole being. But in that case, even though we both understood something was going on with the trees, I couldn't tell they had to do with the presence I'd felt earlier.

You did fine, working within your own limits that this place leaves you. It took me longer than it should to put your locating of them and what we were both sensing together.

But I was just informing you that there's a possibility my readings might not always be completely reliable.

Any indication in this place is better than none.

And it should be fine as long as we combine our efforts together and fill the voids with experience.

Though it seems like a two-man team might be enough if we intend to just go to the hallways.

Except there's more than enough people handling those areas. What we need is a larger place, especially if we're supposed to get some order or rule in this place and it's not just fighting for our survival.

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather go after the big game myself. If we're talking exploration, then I agree with you. But we'll have to start collecting things and items as well at some point, and taking the easier route for it would make it quicker.

I was thinking getting a few small bombs might be useful— there's a god that deals with that. And you need to get weapons too.

If any of the gods actually have weapons I'm used to. If not, I'll have to adapt to what they can give.
