[Becca's making trips to all the apartments. Since people are in and out of the shrine room, she knocks on one of the bedroom doors in apartment A. Otherwise, she knocks on the hallway door of every apartment. Even apartment E.]

People here are horrible to me. They hit me across the face for being nice, they attack me, and I'm supposed to just take that quietly? I'm sorry, but I stand up for myself. And if you're gonna get pissy about that, then you have no idea what it's like to be abused.

You think being abused gives you the right to expect the world to treat you like you're fragile? That being abused gives you some kind of right to say everyone is being mean to you when they have a different opinion? That being abused means that people have to treat you special? Because it really, really doesn't.

The difference between me and you is that I haven't let my childhood define me.

The next time you tell someone that they have no idea what it's like to be abused, try to remember that maybe being abused isn't such a very unique thing after all~

If your friend hurt me, then I'm gonna say they hurt me. And if you call that being mean about them, then you're really entitled. I'm not here to be knocked around by you guys!

If it's really so important, I grew up in a cage. I was kept in chains. I was emotionally neglected and verbally abused. I was whipped on a regular basis. I was shot on a regular basis. I was considered a weapon and a pet, not a person.

I don't bother telling people since I don't expect anyone to care! And I don't want people to treat me differently just because they pity me.

Stop using whatever happened to you as an excuse to whine and manipulate people.

No, I count getting hit across the face abuse. I count people being constantly nasty to me when I didn't do anything to them as unfair. And if you think that's fair then you need to rethink your stance on life.

[She sighs and kneels down to say hello to A-T.]

[He seems amused, and when A-T spits a small flame at the flowers in response, Akito does his very best not to burst out laughing again.]

[Becca narrows her eyes and reaches over A-T, setting the flowers inside the doorway, flames and all. Then she pulls her hand back quick, hoping she won't get burned for it.]

But if you're so busy being a self-righteous asshole who thinks his friends can do no wrong cause they're his friends, that says a lot more about you than it does about me.

I don't get it, though. Why is everything I do bad and nothing your friends do bad? They're mean to me and it's okay, and when I get tired of it and get mean back, that's bad. How is that fair?
