Shouldn't I be the one saying that? Really, it's not like the cost to get into my bed is very high in the first place.

[jerks, so that it's more of a (deep) glancing blow than a straight on pin, but the pain doesn't seem to have much of an effect, ...except to make him smile, really stably! and he uses his uninjured hand to try to grab it]

[starts retracting it into the portal the moment he grabs it, at least trying to get him off balance]

[grins sharply and rejects part of the weapon, cutting the chain more cleanly than probably anything you could imagine might do so, and bears down on YOUR shoulder with the stolen blade]

[-- annnd that is a sharp cry of pain and shock in response to that, the chain now without the blade trying to wrap around Ticky's wrist]

[still can't use his other arm but doesn't really need to. lets go of the blade in your shoulder and tilts his hand back to touch the chain trying to wrap around him, rejecting it so it severs AGAIN and then diving his hand straight into your throat, squeezing around your esophagus
