[A young woman in red is staring out the windows at the rain with a bemused smile, her right eye covered by strips of reddish cloth. She's carrying a metal staff and has a small foxhawk riding on her shoulder.]


Well, they could have at least greeted me with more pleasant weather, don't you think?

[closes her eyes and just drops her head down to his shoulder. never thought she'd see him again. too overwhelmed]

[lifts her head, left eye darting to search his face]

[deep breath. He certainly doesn't look any different from the last time you saw him]

There's much to tell you, and now ain't the greatest time. Let's keep the reunion goin' first.

[wants to push, but finally nods and looks around again]

[following him, holding out an arm for the foxhawk to land as she does]

[reaches over to pet the foxhawk as it lands, gently. She may notice his arms are . . . pretty scarred up]
