If we went by his answer it'd be like, "exactly, he's nothing but a follower," or something like that. But um.. in our world we don't really do things the same way? Besides, the official term for a King's follower in our world is a "Child" and I was never one of those. I'm just a friend and comrade that wanted to watch his back...

Is it okay or not? You obviously aren't happy, running from me and thinking of your other King. And we barely had one victory before I proved I'd fall, and this comes out now.

I can deal with split loyalties. I'm no stranger to a friend waiting with a knife for my back. But if you think just being an ally and not even an official servant is comparable to serving me...! You say it's different in your world, like you're not comparing them to begin with!

.... How should I know... what a friend is to you?

A friend is someone you never have to hesitate to call, whatever it is you need! If it's just to hang out doing nothing or someone to fight with you in a life-or-death battle! Someone who'll loyally stand by you or tell you you're wrong when you're wrong! Someone you can trust and rely on no matter what the situation is! It's definitely more than just an ally!

I think--as long as we're friends I don't care what else I'm called!

It was my fault... I thought the way you were behaving, you were offering yourself to me. Not that I understand the difference, with everything you listed for a "friendship..." but I doubt it's all the same after all, if you're having such conflicted feelings about it.

Um, well I didn't really think you were, but if you have to worry about stuff like people thinking I'm part of the deal when you fight, then it sort of becomes that way, right?

And I mean.. even as a friend I'd stick with you, and I'm still really happy you trusted me enough that you didn't even think about it! You just did what's normal to you, so that makes me happy too. So even if it's not the right term or you think you got carried away...
