[Maybe you have gotten used to the regular hum of the HQ's engines as it flies slowly over a rippling canopy. Maybe you even find their sound soothing as you drift off tonight... Or maybe you don't drift off at all, maybe wherever you are, whatever you were doing, you just find yourself inexplicably sleepy.

Whatever it is, you end up in dreams. Your dreams? Or someone else's? It's hard to say.]

((OOC: DREAM POST!

For those of you who have never participated in a dream post, everyone interested in running a character's dream posts a top level comment and people comment to that to be in that character's dream. There are basically no rules about how it works! Be a lucid dreamer, don't be, figure it out halfway through, push and pull between who controls the dream. w/e have fun! If you need an OOC excuse to be asleep you can totally assume Rew's power just made your character unreasonably tired at some point. Solitary dreamers will find ocean waters rising in and drowning out their dreams, but Rew won't be making any appearances in this post.))

[Nope, there's an exit a while away. Considering the speed at which the flame is spreading, though, you might want to run. Your companion certainly is.]

[Why must your mind be like this? Whhhhyyyy?

Yeah, running and closing the door behind them if that is an option.]

[The fire is a good sport about losing and agrees to stay behind the door, yes. They've ended up in something that looks like an art museum gallery, though the frames are all blank.]

...This usually doesn't happen.

[Art museum sounds much, much better than covered in rain blood, creepy tentacles, or becoming a crispy critter.]

Which part?

[Tapping the frame of the nearest photo.]

Everything that's happened since you showed up, actually.

[The picture blooms with color and mixes slowly for a while before settling on a blurry picture of an average city street.]

[Oh, well...]

Would you like me to stop touching things then?

I doubt it will make a difference in the end.

[Glancing around the room. It is the same uncomfortable white as the hallway in the beginning.] I hate this color...

[Taking the city street painting off the wall and handing it to him.]

Focus on this then.

[Holding onto it and closing his eyes.]

[The walls flood with color in a manner similar to the picture, replicating the scene. Still just an image, but far more interesting than white.]

Oh. Better.

Hah.

[That isn't what he meant at all, but, okay. That seems to work.

Taking a stroll around this room touching another frame or two.]

[They flicker through a succession of completely random images-- chair, apple, whip, cat, chandelier, gun, flower, chains, so on and so forth-- as he does.]

[That is trippy.]

What is this room exactly? Surely you have a guess.

Not sure. Maybe it's just things I think about in the day.

[While most of the frames show random things, a few seem to have a theme. One showing only faces, for instance, and one showing just various blood splatters.]

[If he was feeling more sadistic at the moment, he'd choose blood spatters. For the time being though, he'll tap the ones with the faces to see if he recognizes anyone.]

At least you've got variety. And so far this is the most pleasant room we've encountered.

[The frame enlarges itself. Most of the faces seem to just be random people, but occasionally others will be seen. The other Noah feature frequently, as do the Exorcists. A brief flash of emotion corresponds with each face. Affection for the Twins, fear for Lenalee, etc etc.]

[Fear of Lenalee. You poor thing. He leaves the frame where it is though. Sort of that awkward feeling of seeing something you shouldn't. But since he already has the knowledge.]

She really isn't that scary, you know.

She is. She has the worst frowns.

[Scared of a teenage girl, yes.]

No. That man who wants to be a woman with the pony tail wins that contest.

Would you like to move on, or do you enjoy it here?

Just don't let him catch you calling him that.

Move on? How? [Seeing as all the exits have melted away.]

I'm not scared of him either.

[Looks around.]

Hmm. [Goes and finds a portrait with a door if one exists and hands it to him. If not, he'll find the least scary thing in the room like a flower.]

Concentrate on this then.

[He shakes his head.]

No, I think...

[The portions of wall that still have the cityscape on them ripple, and quite suddenly they're 3D.]

[Gives that a glance.]

That looks untrustworthy.

[Welp. Untrustworthy or not, we are finding ourselves getting sucked into it and then standing on the same street.]

...Interesting.

[Side stepping things that are popping out of the ground as best he can as if it was an infectious disease. Doesn't really help.]

That is all you have to say about this?

Could be so much worse. Be happy.

[Though this place is a little dreary in and of itself.]
