[Maybe you have gotten used to the regular hum of the HQ's engines as it flies slowly over a rippling canopy. Maybe you even find their sound soothing as you drift off tonight... Or maybe you don't drift off at all, maybe wherever you are, whatever you were doing, you just find yourself inexplicably sleepy.

Whatever it is, you end up in dreams. Your dreams? Or someone else's? It's hard to say.]

((OOC: DREAM POST!

For those of you who have never participated in a dream post, everyone interested in running a character's dream posts a top level comment and people comment to that to be in that character's dream. There are basically no rules about how it works! Be a lucid dreamer, don't be, figure it out halfway through, push and pull between who controls the dream. w/e have fun! If you need an OOC excuse to be asleep you can totally assume Rew's power just made your character unreasonably tired at some point. Solitary dreamers will find ocean waters rising in and drowning out their dreams, but Rew won't be making any appearances in this post.))

[A sturdy iron door swings open as he approaches.]

I'd try, but my subconscious doesn't tend to listen.

[Oh good. Are we leaving? Yes, we're leaving. Peeking his head out the door]

How about giving me a heads up about what it usually has in store?

[Tyki gives a pained smile.] Don't worry. It won't kill us.

[The room fades away. Now, you're in...]

[A lovely green field. The sun is shining, there are lots of nice trees, and the sky is blue. It feels perfect.]

Being is killed is not even in my top ten things that scare the hell out of me.

[But oh, oh! This is kind of nice]

[What if I just plop down here in the sun? NEVERMIND WE JUST LEFT A ROOM OF BLOOD DRIPPING WALLS]

Fair enough.

[Birds chirp happily! Also, some distance away, two figures approach. It's Road and Cyril.]

[Speaking of Lavi's top ten list... Lavi's two favorite Noah]

[Yeah, no. No way no how. Scrambling to his feet and running in the opposite direction (hopefully before they notice him).]

[Neither Tyki nor the two newcomers pay any attention to him. Cyril and Road seem oddly transparent and faint, but very enthusiastic anyway. They both sit next to Tyki, who calls out to Lavi:]

They won't hurt you, you know. They probably can't even see you. [Despite the relative cheer of the situation, he seems to be dreading something.]

[Nope. Still quite a distance away from the three, but at least he has stopped running]

[With a bit more bitterness than he would like to have let on:] No. I don't know that. S'better to be safe than sorry.

[He shrugs, uncaring. Road sits on his lap and Cyril wraps an arm around him, not seeming to notice when Tyki closes his eyes and starts to count.]

One, two, three...

[Weirded out yet?]

[He was weirded out well before this (but can't really say anything because he is pretty cuddly with his double so--)]

...

[Okay, maybe he will take some more steps back]

Why are you counting?

[At exactly the count of ten, a shot that seems louder than anything in the world rings out and Cyril falls to the ground, a corresponding bullet hole appearing in his forehead. Road disappears shortly afterwards.]

[So now it's just you and one (1) Tyki. Who is sitting there cradling his dead brother? With a completely blank expression.]

Told you they wouldn't hurt you.

What the hell just happened!?

[He pulls the body closer to him for a few moments before it dissolves into dust. The dust falls in an interesting pattern-- the words "YOUR FAULT".]

[Tyki gives you a bit of a withering look.] What did it look like?

[Blinking down at the words. What even...?]

That a bullet was able to take out Cyril Kamelot.

[Tyki swipes at the words, but they rearrange themselves quickly and he winces and just leaves them.]

This isn't the real world, you know. It didn't exactly happen like that.

Then how did it happen?

[A very wide, extremely unnatural smile appears on his face.]

Does it matter?

[Man, if you go all crazy Noah on me, I am gonna--]

[Who am I kidding? Lavi has no Innocence. He can't do anything. (This is what it must feel like to be a Finder except they usually face death opportunities more often)]

It seems to matter to you.

[The smile fades after a moment, leaving him his (relatively) normal self.]

Of course it does.

The dirt is lying yanno. Even if I don't know the real circumstances.

You don't know that.

Did you shoot him?

[He looks horrified at the suggestion.] Of course not.

So in the most technical of terms, you didn't kill him.

Doesn't matter.

[The bright blue sky turns a flat gray, and the grass loses its color as well.
