[ Who's up for some fun times in nature? ]

[ Oh, and if you're up and out early enough, you may just catch sight of a Lizagon making its way down the big hallway toward the wider open area. A big Lizagon- easily larger than the other ones loitering around this hallway. Its scales have also started changing to a bright, ruby red color, the older green ones shedding off as it walks. ]

[ It doesn't seem to notice you as it passes- it doesn't seem to be stopping for anything in fact. Do you dare follow it? Or are you lucky enough to have decided to go hunting after it passes? ]

In a place very different from the one that killed them first.

Is it alright if I have a quest? There are some things I need to get.

A quest...? To find sacrifices?

I wasn't sure what you take. I need clothes, and towels-- and to add to Slick's healing tab.

From animals, the hearts, lungs, and rib cages. Also, any good deeds done towards humans, if done in my name. This is usually what I'm offered.

...Alright... haah. I was going out to get them but...

[well slick was maybe bringing the corpses back]

You have to be careful too. For one, it's quite a waste if you have to sacrifice so much for healing after every fight.

I didn't mean to be such a mess. I've been made much more aware of how weakened I've been.

Mm. I'm glad you'll be more careful.

Speaking of which... do you know what made us all so much weaker? Because frankly... with the group you have, if we had our powers, we'd be of much more use.

[oi_theoi]

So I've heard. [sigh] It wasn't intentional. Perhaps something was wrong about your rebirth, but I imagine it has more to do with us simply not having the power to recreate the power you are used to holding.

... Do you think we could get it back? Once you're more powerful.

[oi_theoi]

I... don't know, honestly. We've never done anything like this before.

We will grant you powers of ours, however, if you become a priest.

And how does that work?

[oi_theoi]

Depends on the god. Each will have different requirements, each something unique to offer. Some ask little and offer little, others, more.

For example, what about you?

I would expect my priests to live for humanity, to never turn away someone in need, to never kill unless in the defense of another life or their own, to always offer of themselves before seeing another go lacking, and to love many well but only love one intimately. In exchange, such a Child would be able to choose from an assortment of my water magic.
