When: Day 5, Early Evening
Where: Apartment A
What: A new arrival...he seems friendly enough?

[For those who enter the apartment you'll find a very disoriented newcomer. He's sitting on the floor with a black bird on his head. He has only one arm, most of the other one is in his hand. He's staring at it before looking to his stump and back to the arm. He doesn't seem to be bleeding...somehow. He also has a hole in his chest, part of his head is broken, and he has holes in his leg and foot. But all just lead into black emptiness. And he has a smile on his face. Strange huh? Care to approach?]

[Looks up. Smiles frozen for just a moment. And there is the left eye twitch.]

Cloth guy! Boy am I glad to see you!

[...why]

Well I'm not! What are you doing here?

[Who knows? It does that sometimes.]

I'm not too sure. I just woke up here. And my arm is off.

[Uses his dismembered arm to wave to Climber.]

Why are you here?

[Oh hell I'm going to have to explain this to you aren't I. Damn it.] I'm helping to clear out some dangerous plants.

[That gets a raised eyebrow.] Oh? I thought you were a climber, not a gardener. Did you change your name?

...What's a gardener?

Someone who chops down plants.

Oh.

...That's not important right now! What happened to you, before you came here?

Let's see. If I remember correctly...I was on some stairs. And I tripped. I fell down a bunch of stairs. Then I woke up here.

[All said with a happy smile on his face.]

You died by falling down stairs?

I did? Deary me, what an embarrassing way to die.

[He laughs and shakes his head.]

The gods bring people here after they die to help get rid of nature and save this world. Why would you be here?

Maybe they thought you could use some help? Arma can get quite sharp.

[The bird moves as she's spoken around and STARES AT YOU CLIMBER]

But I'm not really one for forced labor. Maybe I should have a word with these gods first.

[Go away bird, hand tightens on his pickaxe]

That's too bad. This will take a while then. Oh well. Got any rocks?

I guess there might be some outside? But that's where all the really dangerous stuff is.

Dangerous stuff you say? Like what?

They said nature and the wildlife was trying to kill everyone... But we're not humans, so maybe it's not the same. I didn't have a lot of trouble when I went out there...

I see. Well I'll have to go out and see for myself I guess.

[He looks around for a moment.] Anything else you can tell me? Are there humans here?

...Yes... [Maybe leaving the shank-happy pirate alone with a bunch of humans in a confined space is not a good idea]

I see. Well this is going to be very interesting. Us stuck here with humans and nature wants them all dead? Deary me what a strange place we found ourselves.

It is very strange... I still don't know if we can ever get back home... [N-No Climber don't be sad and reveal weakness in front of Karl, that is a BAD PLAN] B-But, we'll just have to make the most of it!

[Oh he sees that weakness. He'll save that for later.]

Maybe not. But at least we have each other, right?
