When: Day 5, Early Evening
Where: Apartment A
What: A new arrival...he seems friendly enough?

[For those who enter the apartment you'll find a very disoriented newcomer. He's sitting on the floor with a black bird on his head. He has only one arm, most of the other one is in his hand. He's staring at it before looking to his stump and back to the arm. He doesn't seem to be bleeding...somehow. He also has a hole in his chest, part of his head is broken, and he has holes in his leg and foot. But all just lead into black emptiness. And he has a smile on his face. Strange huh? Care to approach?]

[Screams and flails and there's a large cat the size of a lion biting my leg FLAIL FAIL AAAAH] Get off get off get off!

[Uh oh. Just going to stay here all nice and quiet like. Fixing first. Sorry bro, you're on your own.]

[SMACKS IT IN THE HEAD WITH A PICKAXE oh god then another one jumps on his back and there is clawing OH GOD FLUFF EVERYWHERE]

[That looks like it hurt. Well he'll do you one favor. He'll send Arma out and she flies, swooping in and her wing turning into a blade. She'll slice at the lion's back before returning to Karl. Happy now?]

[The moss cat turns, looking for it's assailant... Huh, nobody there. Oh well, back to mauling this puppet!]

[And Arma comes around for another sneak attack number two!]

[Climber is weak at the best of times, he needs a lot of momentum to attack properly. But that is enough of a distraction for him to slam the flat end of his pickaxe into the cats back, knocking it forward and allowing him to jump out. He lands a few feet away, having to stop himself skidding with his pickaxe. He's torn up and there's some... Weird... Black smoke thing pooling in the tears, some staples are ripped from his torso leaving him torn halfway through and his left arm looks like it's coming off. Oh well. Time to kill some monsters.]

[And there it is again. He wasn't imagining it. Something is different about Cloth Guy. And he'll make sure to ask about it later. Right now, he needs to focus on healing. If Climber dies, he'll have to fight. And right now he only has one arm. He would really like his arm back now. Why is this taking so long?]

[Sit back Karl, Climber's got this. He moves like a blur as usual, power limits can't affect the fact he has practically no weight, spinning and slashing and likely getting a bit more torn up. Whoops there goes his left hand, snatches one of the ties from his outfit and secures the pickaxe to his stump, eventually managing to beat the two cats into unconsciousness.]

[Once they're unconscious, Karl smiles and flashes Climber a thumbs up.]

Well done, Cloth Guy. Now you should make sure they are unable to fight.

They're already unable to fight. [Goes to pick up his arm and... Stuffing...]

That isn't what I meant, Cloth Guy. Kill them.

But I don't want to kill them!

If you don't, they'll just wake up and rip you to shreds again.

Th-Then hurry up so we can get out of here.

I can't just hurry it up. This takes time and if we're weaker here it's going to take a much longer time I'm sure. You have to kill them if you want to keep us safe, Climber.

I'm not going to kill them just because you tell me to.

Why not? They'd kill you without a second thought. And they're just animals. It's our job to kill then, it's why we're here.

[Glances at the unconscious mosscats for a moment, unsure... Then slowly looks up at Karl, expression hard]

I'm not killing anyone.

Anyone. They're things. Are you going to disobey the Gods? That might not end well~

They're not things, they're alive. A-And I don't like lions, but they're still just... Doing what lions do.

Yet it was the Gods who told us to kill them and cut away the plants. Plants are alive too. You helped me kill them when we cut the moss off the wall. Killing is something you are going to have to do here.

W-Well, I don't want to! There's... There's no reason to right now.

Except they tried to kill you and will do it again when they wake up.
