What: Look around! Run into each other! Get cleaned up!

[ So it's been a day since the HQ was moved, and everyone has no doubt been enjoying the sunshine and the lifting of that oppressive gloom. Some have even started to get things cleaned up again. Appropriate for chaos to be followed by order again, hm? Those who are interested in grabbing some cleaning supplies will notice that Eizon has actually generously set out some already by his shine, today.

For other people still exploring, some may notice that a lot of vines fell away when the HQ was uprooted, and people searching around outside will see that about where level 4 starts, some of the wall looks different--a weaker texture, actually more like concrete that was filled over something. There also seems to be remains of twisted metal scaffolding or railing in some places, all along two stone ledges that trace around the half of the HQ opposite the window side. Perhaps these were once balconies?

In any case, be careful while you're out there, it seems like a lot more Red Lizagons are around this high up in the canopy! Some of them even seem extra mad. Maybe the HQ squished some nests?]

[A chance to delay stripping down in your apartment?]

I should at least finish cleaning up my contribution to the mess. I won't be able to do it as easily after, without ruining what you'll have painted right away.

Take your time, dear. I'll be ready by the time you're finished.

[To be a responsible girl!! Hey, did you know that paint really does not want to come off walls once it's dried? Ever? Yeah, so did she, but it'd seemed like a much better idea at the time.

This will invariably take several hours and end in sore elbows before a tuckered-out Lenalee finally makes her slow return to Kaori's apartment.]

[ ...well by that point she's finished smoking, gone to Kalidas for paints and brushes and come back. The door is open, as always. ]

[That's good, because Lenalee is the kind of person who moves on to waltzing into people's rooms once a certain level of friendship has been established. She stretches her arms over her head as she enters, cracking her shoulders and elbows.]

Kaori? I think I'm done for now. It was a lot of work...

Feeling better now that you've cleaned like a madwoman?

[ Coming out of the bedroom, to close the door behind Lenalee. ]

[Makes a face at her, slumping.]

Not really.

[ Laughs, lightly, and goes to start some tea. ]

You can go get washed up in the shower, if you like. Come to the bedroom when you're done.

[Perks. A shower sounds fantastic enough that she'll even neglect to get flustered over how that invitation to the bedroom sounds.]

Ah, yes. Thank you. [Glances around, subtly trying to locate the washroom— there it is.] I won't be long.

[She's pretty used to taking navy showers.]

[ While you're doing that I'll finish up this tea and bring it to the bedroom. /o/ ]

[Showering!! And then painstakingly redressing herself before going anywhere. She's looking a bit unsure of herself when she peeks in through the bedroom door. These things are a lot harder to do once you've had time to think about them...!]

I'm done.

[...as if that weren't obvious.]

[ Well, Lenalee hasn't been in here before. The furniture is gorgeous and well-kept-- there's two beds in the room, a king size and a simpler double. It keeps in modern-asian theme with the rest of the apartment, the beds relatively low to the floor.

Kaori's sitting on the smaller bed-- there's a teaset on the chair next to it, a makeshift bedside table, and some bottles of paint. The bed itself has some towels laid down over it. ]

Have some tea.

[There's a possibility that, while accustomed to ornate furniture by virtue of growing up in a religious organization in 19th century England, Lenalee has never seen a king-sized bed before. She thinks that if she were to lay across it width-wise, she'd barely reach.]

Ah... thank you.

[Quietly enters the room, hesitating a moment before closing the door behind her, and makes her way over to the smaller bed. Her hair is still wet.]

[ Hands her a cup of green tea, and stands, taking one of the towels with her. Circling around behind her she drapes it over Lenalee's head, ruffling her with it to help dry a little. ]

Sit and drink. You can undress whenever you're ready.

[O-Oh, okay. Holds the cup away from her body while Kaori ruffles her hair, blinking. She won't sit until she's sure she isn't spilling any.]

I— mm.

[She'll sit at the edge of the small bed and blow on her drink.]

[ Takes her own cup from the chair and sits beside her, sipping at it. ]

Nervous?

[NO, SHE NEVER GETS NERVOUS]

A little.

It's okay. If you don't like it, simply tell me to stop.

I shouldn't have any reason to say that, should I?

I don't see why not. It isn't as if you've ever done this before. New experiences bring new feelings, not always all of them good. I will try my best to make it tolerable for you, but I would prefer if it were enjoyable.

It's just painting, Kaori. It— won't hurt me.

No, it won't. That doesn't mean it won't make you uncomfortable.

[Takes a sip of her drink, ears pinkening.]

I trust you.

[ Pauses to watch her, quietly... then gets up, finishing off her cup of tea and reaching for the little bottles of paint. ]
