Who: Anyone
When: Day 70, morning
Where: Anywhere
What: Look around! Run into each other! Get cleaned up!
[ So it's been a day since the HQ was moved, and everyone has no doubt been enjoying the sunshine and the lifting of that oppressive gloom. Some have even started to get things cleaned up again. Appropriate for chaos to be followed by order again, hm? Those who are interested in grabbing some cleaning supplies will notice that Eizon has actually generously set out some already by his shine, today.
For other people still exploring, some may notice that a lot of vines fell away when the HQ was uprooted, and people searching around outside will see that about where level 4 starts, some of the wall looks different--a weaker texture, actually more like concrete that was filled over something. There also seems to be remains of twisted metal scaffolding or railing in some places, all along two stone ledges that trace around the half of the HQ opposite the window side. Perhaps these were once balconies?
In any case, be careful while you're out there, it seems like a lot more Red Lizagons are around this high up in the canopy! Some of them even seem extra mad. Maybe the HQ squished some nests?]

[ Still mixing some paints. ]

They smell nice.

[ Hesitating when she's done with the paints, going over to her dresser to pull out a pair of... striped clothes?? :|a And putting them on after she sheds her kimono.
Better off getting Gian's prison clothes dirty just in case :'Da ]

So you can really eat them? Completely safely?
no subject
Yes. They're completely edible. I assume they've got fruit juices and whatnot in them.

So the strawberry really tastes like strawberries?

[ Taking some red paint onto the tip of her brush and reaching over to smear some on Lenalee's lip. ]
no subject
But she still rolls her lips to get the paint off them, and she thinks to herself that Kaori's right that it tastes... not quite right, but still sweet.]
Kind of fake...

Sets her paints to the side, dipping the brush back into the red. ]
Yes, that's it. But it's tolerable, at least.
Now lay still.

Exhales a soft breath, licking the last of the paint from her mouth, and settles back onto her stomach proper. She has a long, sort of elegant back, though it's pockmarked by some various scarring. Nothing too serious.]
You're going to tell me about what you're painting, right?
no subject
Mmm... you can wait until it's done.
no subject
They're your standard battle-scars, though— faint white lines that are easier to see than feel. When you fight a war where most hits are fatal ones, you tend to either walk away unscarred or not at all. These are all obviously from shrapnel and other superficial things.]
...That isn't fair.
[Doesn't sound too upset about it, though.]

[ Slides her hand back up to ruffle her hair gently, before setting the paintbrush to her back. ]
no subject
[Makes an 'oop' sound as Kaori ruffles her hair, but otherwise doesn't move. The brush's soft bristles feel strange against her skin.]

[ The work is slow and careful, though it's hard to figure out what she's doing by feel alone... ]

I'm fine like this. I wouldn't want to risk getting paint on it.
no subject
It isn't like I'm painting your face. Don't worry. We might be sitting here for a couple of hours, that's all.
no subject
[Oh, fine.]
All right, I'll take a pillow.

Then, blandly:] Is this something you've often done before?
