Many here, do you know they've never known a god at all? How strange to think...

Blind and deaf, but I have honored them all with a personal lessssson.

Perhaps all of it. I have ssslept without adoration or praissse, have not tasted fear or blood for many yearsss.

Well, certainly there are those who would seek bloodshed for you. Some are quite fond of such things.

Blood is the way of the hunter.

And we've many such here. I've companions that are little but hunters. Their dedication to the slaughter was always, aaah, how to say it? Well, it's impressive, certainly.

The hunter's triumph over prey is the natural course of how life issss meant to be.

Well, certainly.

Then you ssshould underssstand why I mussst teach your kind. The natural courssse must be preserved.

But we are not all hunters. If you wish blood from me, well, you'd be waiting a while. That's not really a flowers' strong suit.

Still, though, there are plenty who would provide it to you willingly, only if you were to ask.

[lips stretch across his face in a smile as he leans down from his resting place]

I would not take blood from you, little sssister of the earth. But those who would give me homage have yet to bow to me and I grow weary of the wait.

Mm, what I mean is, you'll wait forever for them to bow, but for the hunters to hunt is only natural. That you could obtain gladly, if you were just to ask so they could hear.

If they will not lisssten except to warm words of codling... I have nothing they will hear.

Oh Lord of Serpents, we have already been told by those that stole us, that all we will face here is wrath and savagery.
