[ So you've decided to go outside and get a feel for the area. I sure hope you're armed. ]

(( OOC: Kicking off the new arrivals with an exploration post! We will be working on this post for the rest of the night and tomorrow, so feel free to jump in whenever. [Attempting to tug her boot away 8(]

[Shit, he reaches out to snap his wing around her and pull her away from the flower. While trying to follow that flicker of movement.] ...always the cute things being deadly. Why.

[ That flower has a pretty good grip on her... ]

[ There is also a faint noise from the vines and then three needle-shaped objects come flying out from the shadows. ]

[SHOOTS THE FLOWER, accurate enough to avoid her own foot]

[ Dead flower! But those needles are still coming at you, what do. ]

[Welp. He dives for the floor, slashing at them in hopes to keep them from hitting her.] Duck!

[Doing so as soon as the flower is dispatched]

[ The needles are deflected! There's a faint noise from in the vines before two series of three needles are flying out again, six total for those kids at home doing the math. ]

[ a voice comes out from just behind and to the right of the two.]

Deflect. Send back, fly away, return to the one that sent you.

[Glancing around, startled, but staying down]

[ The needles freeze for a moment, seeming to hesitate before dropping to the ground. NOT QUITE what you had in mind but at least the needles are stopped yay. ]

[a small frown and a bit if confused annoyance flashes briefly across his face but hey, no needles right?]

Are you two alright?

[Picking herself up, nodding, then glancing at the walls warily]

The vines seem to be the problem.

[He pulls himself up, blade still ready to swing in case of more crap.] Yeah I'm fine. We need to take out the vines but without cutting them.

[ It seems like whatever was in those vine shadows has settled down, but there are some noises coming from one of the two open doorways... ]

What happens if you cut them? [watches them warily]

[ A wall appears, but you can feel yourself wearing out on energy fast. ]
