[ So you've decided to go outside and get a feel for the area. I sure hope you're armed. ]

(( OOC: Kicking off the new arrivals with an exploration post! We will be working on this post for the rest of the night and tomorrow, so feel free to jump in whenever. We would appreciate it if people teamed up for this post, but if you feel like running off on your own, feel free to do that as well! ))

Absolute wall of protection. Reinforced, strengthened, this wall will stand, a protector that will not be overcome.

[Hopefully a wall will appear...?]

[ A wall appears, but you can feel yourself wearing out on energy fast. ]

[Dave moves fast, pouring on the speed and aims to slash at the plants.]

[For her part, Inori goes for efficiency, firing at clumps and bunches, or any other obvious strategic point.]

[ The shot plants explode into, well, green bits, but the black vines that were slashed begin to ooze their corrosive goo all over everything. ]

[the bandages around his neck is soaked red and blood drips down his neck quite purfusely. He looks intensely focused as he concentrates his energy into maintaining the shield]

[Shit he draws back. No more slashing these things.] Yeah shit, let's not go for swords anymore.

[Bullets seem to be working?? Firing several more shots, to be sure]

[ More goo pours out of the vines; they seem to be eating away whatever remaining plantlife there is in that corner, but strangely enough, not the stone floor... ]

[focused on keeping the vines from them but glances down quickly to watch the plants get eaten away.]

[Keeping out of range, listening and watching.] Everyone alright?

[She nods, lowering the gun]

I must find the teeth of an animal if I'm to keep using ammunition.

[lowers his hand as it seems the danger is past them, reaching up to pull his collar a bit futilely over his bloodied neck bandges]

Does it matter what animals? [appears tired]

... [bends down to inspect the vines' work]

This is pretty effective at what it does. Do you suppose we can bottle it somehow?

[ As it runs out of things to eat, you notice the goo beginning to solidify. ]

[Raised eyebrow at that. what the hell?] Be careful man. I don't like the looks of this.

These gods, they want things cleared. We should try to find a more efficient way of doing it. Something to remember if we can find something to hold it.

[Inori turns back toward the doorway as he speaks and a few moments later, Funell zips in. She crouches down, putting a hand on its head and indicating the vines and goo.]

Funell, please collect some of this.

[She removes her hand and it sets to work immediately, using its tiny clawed hands to shovel things into its central compartment.]
