[idk what YOU are doing, but slick has gotten tired of being holed up and has headed downstairs to clear the baths of any renegade bathmonkeys so that he can then enjoy himself in a warm hotspring

If I weighed you against each other you would obviously win, but not by such a margin that I'd stand by while you killed her. And even if I didn't rather like her, which I do, you can't offer me what she does.

So I suppose it is not even a question of whether your loyalty to her is greater, so much as whether your loyalty to what she has built for you is greater. And yet . . . Aren't you escalating a little quickly just because you're feeling stubborn? I've always been aware we would probably conflict eventually, but the only reason it's happening now is because you've decided you would rather sacrifice your current 'master' and everything I offer you and condemn me to misery despite being rather fond of me than deal with a god periodically sending people looking for your fingers.

I would have you face your nature. I do not believe that is condemning you to misery or abandoning you. And I know better than all that if you constantly deny the gods, the stakes grow higher and higher . . . would you rather me wait until she tries for something I would rue losing?
