Actually pretty good.

If you call this "pretty good" then your life must have been one big shithole.

I'm not counting the transition here. I can't remember how that happened, so I really can't count it in 'am I doing better this way than when I was a bastard.'

But yeah, it kind of sucked a lot for a while until I got better. Then it got better.

No, part of the problem was I was very, very good at it.

Eventually people notice and someone is gonna manage to hit you for it.

That's the sort of conflicts I was involved in. The kind where people died. I ain't easy to kill, so to have death happen twice means someone was trying really hard to do it.

That's the liabilities of not having friends. No allies, and no people to hit ya when yer being stupid. Either or can apply, really.

Yeah, ya' know -- that's all really insightful, except...it's not. Some of us don't need "friends" to get by. All you need are a few morons that are gullible enough to hang on to your every word and you're golden. It worked for me.
