What: TRIUMPHANT RETURN

[Look who's back from their nature exploration! Aside from both obviously being worn out and the bandage on Wander's leg, he and Edward seem to otherwise be unharmed.]

[There is a lot of nature stuck to Wander's sword, which he is kind of looking at now.]

Wander: Well, um, that was a good hunt.

Edward: It's too bad we don't have anything to show for it.

The only people I really know well around here are the few living in this apartment... we're all still here, so I wasn't aware.

Just be careful to keep it in mind... Sion must have been worried sick.

Good. It's not just nature that's a threat out there, if all these stories are correct.

I hope you're right. And at least so far it seems there's no great reward to anyone for violence against others.

I've only dealt with a few of them so far. I'm trying to avoid it as much as I can.

There's one who had a girl burn herself multiple times as tribute, and another who had people poison themselves for a "dare".

At the very least, they were all optional.

That doesn't mean it won't end up becoming mandatory.

I'm holding out hope that it won't come to that.

We can hope, but that might not be enough.

Maybe.

But admittedly I'd rather try to find whatever peace I can, while I'm here, rather than driving myself mad with the possibilities.

I don't think I'll find much of that for myself here... but if I can at least avoid the worst troubles until they finally give us a way to move on, that will be enough.

No, I think you could. Not the same kind, or to the same extent, but little things that pile up and make it bearable.

A sort of quiet, maybe. But there's too many little things that aren't right to hope for a true peace.

"Wrong" and "not right" aren't always the same thing. And sometimes "wrong" isn't necessarily "different."
