What: TRIUMPHANT RETURN

[Look who's back from their nature exploration! Aside from both obviously being worn out and the bandage on Wander's leg, he and Edward seem to otherwise be unharmed.]

[There is a lot of nature stuck to Wander's sword, which he is kind of looking at now.]

Wander: Well, um, that was a good hunt.

Edward: It's too bad we don't have anything to show for it.

MR EDWARD I WAS SCARED.

What were you scared of?

You and Wander vanished...you think I didn't notice? I know I've been hiding a lot lately, but that's...that's cause...of...stuff... I still noticed! You're my friends, I was scared, I...

[weakly hits at his chest with her fists]

Mr. Edward...don't you get it?

[drags into the kitchen and goes about cooking; you're getting moss lion liver and running potatoes, mister, it's good for you]

We are, we didn't even get hurt badly out there. And we'll try to not disappear so long again.

[dredging the liver through flour mixed with salt, then dropping it into a frying pan]

You were gone too long without good food. I'm gonna feed you.

[This is how I'm burning off excess worry so I don't just cry on you for an hour. Try to appreciate it.]

[Potatoes are left over from last night, but with a bit of milk and heat, they fluff up just fine. Soon, you're presented with a plate of liver and mashed potatoes, with creamy pepper gravy over the top of it.]

There, now eat up~!

Ah, thank you. You should have some, too.

Nah, I've already eaten. You're the returning hero.

"Hero," huh?

Yup. Mighty destroyer of nature.

Slayer of Trees, I suppose.

You cut down a tree?

We were attacked by moving trees.

Yeah, that happened to me and Wander when we went out.

Ah, did it? But you got away from them okay, it seems.

Yup. Killed it good and dead. And I made soup out of it!

...Out of... a tree?

It's a kind of spider. They stand really still and pretend to be trees, then when you turn your back on it, the leg comes up and they try to skewer you.

Those were spiders?!

Yep. Same ones your furniture's made out of.
