[Look who's back from their nature exploration! Aside from both obviously being worn out and the bandage on Wander's leg, he and Edward seem to otherwise be unharmed.]

[There is a lot of nature stuck to Wander's sword, which he is kind of looking at now.]

Wander: Well, um, that was a good hunt.

Edward: It's too bad we don't have anything to show for it.

We should probably clean and properly bandage it when we get back to the apartment, but it won't need much more than that.

Yes. Hopefully before Sion finds out. I would hate to worry him.

[also he will give us that disproving bishie look.]

Mm, I'll handle it as soon as we get in. Hopefully he'll have stepped out for a few minutes. It'll keep him from being too troubled.

I think he will worry regardless but, anything to lessen that worry is good.

Of course he will. But he doesn't need to worry quite so much.

Considering last time, I think we are very lucky, though.

It's a good sign for next time, though. And we'll definitely catch something then.

I hope so.

Perhaps we will get a giant spider. Or one of those rock throwing birds!

Rock throwing birds?

Well I mean, they do not throw rocks at you. They kick them at you.

It is.

Hunting was a lot easier back home. We always surprised nature as oppose to, you know, it surprising us.

I didn't need to hunt in my home... the last time I really did it was in my time in Sabra, and usually there it was just small game.

If you did not hunt then how did you eat?

Well, we had farmers who raised food for us. They'd sell their food at markets and stores, so those who didn't work on farms could share in their food.

Oh, I suppose that makes sense. My village was not in the best of places for growing things, so we relied heavily on hunting.

Originally, my country was a number of much smaller nations, all surviving on whatever they had available. In that time in the past, many of them were hunters, they didn't have the ability to farm their lands easily. Over time, the creators of my country took over those other lands, and the larger nation was able to make use of the wider range of lands--people still hunted in those areas, but more for sport than for survival. Those people were able to receive goods shipped from the plains areas that were better suited to agriculture.

Were they able to have goods shipped to them regularly? It was awfully rare for us.

Very regularly. We had an extensive rail network running around the country, as well as roads to move people and goods around.

Wow. Everything must have ran really well! I mean, that sure does make things less complicated.

It made life a lot better for everyone, and let things advance. Ah, there were problems, of course, but people were good at keeping things running regardless.

I suppose problems are expected. Still, I always thought it would be kind of nice to live in a place like that.

It was a nice enough place. The part where I made my home was one of the more agricultural areas... mostly sheep, but other crops were raised there, too. Nice open plains, and a river running close to the house.

A river close to the house?!

I had to take my horse to get to the nearest river.
