I think that's taking it a little personally. From their point of view you all want to murder and eat them.

Mm . . . I guess I just don't really worry about what they think when they've got the whole planet, and we just need this tiny spot.

Ah... I'm not saying you shouldn't do what you have to. I know... humans existed this way for thousands of years, just trying to survive. And here if you don't fight you won't even be able to eat. It's human nature to carve out a space to live as well.

But I think if strangers came to your world, and knocked over your neighborhood because 'humans already have everything else' you would still defend your home. To you it's just your one small piece of the world, so it's natural to defend it.
