[Pacing through the hallways and the common area (probably for the second time this morning), looking around nooks and crannies and corners and peeking into open doorways (and apartments L and E might be getting knocks since he knows worldmates live there).]

Lenalee? [Where did she go...]

[Shoves his shoulder.] Maybe when we're not looking for the girl you're supposed to be giving one of those too.

[Pausing at the stairs]

[Gives him another, agitated push up them, then. Really not the time, Lavi.]

[Despite his flippant attitude, he will be taking the stairs two at a time, stopping at the top to spin around quickly and get a good look at the immediate surrounding area]

[Following up behind him, also casting his gaze around the area.]

Hey, Boss. Do you know if she was looking for anything in particular?

Not unless it was to try and get a weapon. [Which he'd assume wouldn't be a problem if she knew Lavi was doing it.]

Then she could be anywhere.

[Spins around chanting to himself] Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Mo... [And starts heading in that direction]

Holler if you see spiders.

[Draws his blade, keeping a distance as he follows.] They're not the only dangerous thing.

Yeah, but Red said something about spiders taking people.

[... Frowns. Now that he thinks about it he does remember a girl caught up in one a long time ago.]

She'll be wrapped up if they have her. Hard to miss a cocoon that big.

[Cutting at any vines that get in his way and trying to move forward at a ridiculous pace all things considered. Sure feels like being back on that ship on the way to Edo again]

Let's hope we get to her before that.

... Right. [Cutting carefully and keeping and eye and ear out for any surprises.]

[... This is going to end up in a lot of fruitless searching (and probably taking out the stress and worry on any unfortunate creatures that come across their path)]

[Pretty much, and they probably won't be coming out uninjured themselves.

Unfortunately the energy burn doesn't do much to curb his agitation when they're done.]

[Leaning heavily at the railing at the bottom of the stairs. Ow, ow, and more ow]

You don't think she went to the second level, do you?

[Leaning back against the wall, glancing to the other set of stairs.] We can't prove she didn't.

... There's nothing down there but water.

[And whatever creepy crawlies lived down there]

[Well, if she didn't and hasn't come back by now...]

[Right, right. Off to Level 2, slipping out of his coat as he heads down the stairs]

[Keeping his blade out and following him down. At least the first part is sectioned off as a pool, so they're not in immediate danger.]

[Tugging off his boots and bandana next, dropping all of it off in the shallow end so he can find them later]

[Oh boy, here we go]

Mind keeping Mugen lit up for me so I can find my way back?

[He knows how much Kanda loves water]
