[comes over, and grips Xavier's shoulder]

You keep saying that but he's my brother. I was the one who tucked him, who raised him! No one else is responsible! If I hadn't left Lepus, maybe this--[he stops, choking down sobs]

If you hadn't left Lepus, it would have destroyed you. I am not... trying to assign blame, but your parents had as much of a hand in things as you did. If not more. You were a child yourself.
