How's that dealing with dying going??

Who: Dgrayers and whoever else wants to chat Link up
When: Day 9, morning
Where: the cleared out apartments
What: Food and status checks.

[Has a crude wooden tray with food wrapped in purified and cleaned leaves, in the absence of more refined ways to deal with food. Coming around to the various apartments and checking up on people, particularly familiarish faces from worlds-like-home.]

Good morning...

((ooc: OH GOD RUNNING POSTS--I... I need to come back to this tomorrow...))

You'll hafta tell me about your place some time.

It's not a happy story.
thelionking: (Sincerity)

[personal profile] thelionking 2011-12-29 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
It's fine. I just don't think it'd make for great story-telling.
anopenbook: (Are you sure that goes there?)

[personal profile] anopenbook 2011-12-29 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't mind but it sounds unpleasant for you to speak of.
thelionking: (Hakuna Matata?)

[personal profile] thelionking 2011-12-29 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose if I didn't talk about it, I'd just be running away.

You've been cut off from it all, so I think it could be excused in this instance.

[lays a hand on his sword]

It wasn't a bad place. It had its problems.
anopenbook: (Up to no good.)

[personal profile] anopenbook 2011-12-29 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
Most places are like that. As long as there's some good, it's enough.

It was my home. But it was very isolated. We didn't know much beyond our ways. And we didn't believe in technology.

Ah...yeah, that can be troublesome from a military standpoint.

Despite that, it wasn't how we lost the war. We lost through betrayal.
anopenbook: (That's a difficult question.)

[personal profile] anopenbook 2011-12-29 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
That's...even worse. Not only a loss but an even bigger kick to moral.
thelionking: (Mufasa's dead)

[personal profile] thelionking 2011-12-29 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
It took my father. Everyone else... there weren't many survivors.
anopenbook: (No way.)

[personal profile] anopenbook 2011-12-29 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
But there were survivors. Things can turn around quickly. I've watched many wars in my life.
thelionking: (I'm not crazy)

[personal profile] thelionking 2011-12-29 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I'm out of the picture. It's up to them now.
anopenbook: (Salute.)

[personal profile] anopenbook 2011-12-29 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
Bet its in good hands.
thelionking: (You can trust this face)

[personal profile] thelionking 2011-12-29 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
It should be. It's in my brother's hands.

[personal profile] anopenbook 2011-12-29 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
What's he like?
thelionking: (Hakuna Matata?)

[personal profile] thelionking 2011-12-29 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
He's... actually I don't want to talk about him right now.

Thank you.
