Well, our gods brought you here. This is the shrine room. All these things are shrines to our various gods. That over there is a directory of them, for newcomers who want to find out who they are or what they offer. You can make bargains with them for stuff or healing or perks, or you can pledge service to them in exchange for powers.

Well, this place got a liiiittle overgrown, we need to fight back nature and re-establish civilisation.

Everything is poisonous until it's been blessed by Lady Dellen. That's not superstition, either, it gives you horrible stomach aches and makes you sick. I'm not kidding. Even the water, unless you get it from the pipes in the apartments. If you're hungry, go to apartment H. There's free food there.

If you can see plants, you're in mortal peril. The animals that live in them are deadly and well camouflaged. Some of the plants are lethal as well.

To get a place to stay, go door to door, knock on the door, and ask people if there's room for a roommate. Someone will let you in eventually.
