One can make use of the animal's skins, rather than trading them. Teeth and claws are sometimes sturdy enough to be crafted into tools...

Some of the larger woody vines might also be used to carve, not just use as fire-wood, but that requires tools as well...

We do seem to have an abundance of teeth and claws-trading for a few carving tools to make proper tools out of the rest of our materials would be most effective.

Clothes, armor depending how tough the hide is, some distance weapons like a sling or maybe a slingshots, could make tools out of the bone, there's probably some medical use here.

Some creature comfort things, but that'd probably be better for later.

I think I remember how to cure leather. A friend experimented with it. And the bones can be used for tools, though having some stone or metal tools will help.

The sinews can be used as thread for leather.
