Not very. He had a pact with a spirit before coming here, but it was different, I believe. I do not know the details of it though.

I have spoken with his roommate, Ky, about it. His pact arrived with him. There are... different circumstances. Their spirits are not solely bound to them and their contracts are made to be dissoluble at either the master or spirit's desires as best I understand.
