What: It occurs to John that, in providing for two, he might need a home...

[He's being followed by an automous stuffed rabbit and a salamander that comes about to his waist. We understand if you're hesitant to answer the door, but if not, he wants to know:

[He was taught to not intrude! So he'll just stick his head in all of that business, knocking and calling out loudly.] Hello? Anyone in here?

[this guy pokes his head out of one of the rooms]

Oh! Hi there!

I'm John Egbert, this is Casey [Apparently the salamander...], aaaand... well, we're looking around for possible homes! I'm not really sure how things work here, I was just... kind of invited to live somewhere, in the last place I was!

Um, I promise she doesn't make a mess! She blows bubbles though... but she's the sweetest little girl ever! So if you have a room and some beds for us... oh, and a shelf for Liv!

[Apparently he's had this spiel rehearsed, the way he beams after getting it all out.]

I just got here and I live alone. And as you can see, I'm super bare. If you want to stay, you'll have to get your own things from the gods.

Did you? I did awhile ago, we've just been getting the food and kinda... hanging!

... so that means you don't have beds? Oh... I kind of need one for Casey at least, I can sleep on the floor...

[this injured guy who's lost a lot of blood has parked himself next to the door of Apartment C and is... singing.

He has bandages here and there where chunks of flesh are missing but it's still considerably better than the state he was in yesterday.]

Oh my gosh! [He quickly drops to the other's side, gesturing forward. The bunny rushes quickly to his side, standing to attention.] Are you alright?! Do you need anything?!

[blinks. He's not bleeding anymore. There are still some blood on the bandages but]

I'm fine. Don't worry.

Are you sure? Are you being nursed? I took care of my friend when he was hurt, and he just keep bleeding all over everything! Well... he wasn't ENTIRELY human, but still! People need bandages when they bleed a lot, and that's a LOT of bandages! How'd you get hurt?

[Ooh... a cup of tea sounds nice. He never learned how to make it right at home. He walks in, sitting himself down across from the other. The rabbit sits next to him, and the salamander waddles her way in, blowing bubbles as she looks around. He makes sure to follow her with his gaze...]

Hi there! Ah, Casey, don't make a mess... so what kind of tea? We had this really weird kind back home, it was all bitter and stuff...

Ah, hello, welcome. It's various things made from what's available here... if you'd prefer a sweeter one I can mix that up for you.
