What: Being stabbed hurts

[After this happens, one new kid is staggering down from the fourth level. A knife stabbed in his side. A knife that some people might recognize to be Noric's since it's obviously an Orion blade.

Once he makes it down the stairs without attracting any nature with him, he bursts out laughing]

I made it! [and cringes] Ow, ow, ow...

[smiles (= otherwise totally unaffected by your suffering, and totally uncaring of who might hear.

But it doesn't last long. She does shift the knife a bit to make sure she doesn't miss anything, then pulls it out and tosses the white-hot dagger to her other hand, slapping her right hand over wound.

And now your pain is receding]

[When he can finally stop screaming, he takes a shuddering breath and weakly slumps to his knees. There are tears on his face but he's not quite aware of it. Cause oh god that hurt.]

[shoves up against one of his shoulders so he doesn't totally collapse, and keeps healing him. After a minute or so the wound is completely gone and the pain is just in his head, with a nice pink strip of skin where the stab was]

[Words are hard. Can he totally collapse now? Cause that sounds like the thing to do]

[fine okay, lets him slide down

just lifts an eyebrow at him]

[Cradling where that injury was. God. It takes a while before words are happening again]

[He sounds both impressed and like a bullied child]

But that still wouldn't have had to happen if you'd stuck to your promise.

[annoyed grunt. Looking away and falling silent for a while]
