[A little earlier this morning a tense and fidgety Pyxis was dragged over and relegated to pillow duty for a certain set of sharks. A little unusual, but not the most unexpected thing to have ever happened. Nova's approval, on the other hand . . . That's definitely something strange.

As the the various members of the apartment finish with their breakfasts (and mid-morning naps) he straightens up with an eager, overconfident grin.]

Sheesh, that reminds me, I need to report to him today. I think I have some good things to report on, anyway! I wonder what kind of orders he'll give me. Do you ever get nervous about new bosses? I usually don't but I also usually quit within about a week even if the place doesn't spontaneously burn down due to conspiracy against my person.

My lord used to drop me down a pit. I had many harrowing experiences and became a better person because of it! But when I drop people down a pit suddenly I'm a crazy person! What's up with that?
