Where: Outside the door of Apartment C
What: Cloud is limping back from his failed exploration attempt to nurse his wounds.

[So. Snakes suck. And he was stupid for taking one head-on.

Cloud is leaning against the door to Apartment C, taking a break from dragging his sorry ass back to a safer place. He winces, taking care not to put pressure on his broken leg. There are red marks on his arm as well, from where the snake gripped and tried to crush the limb. He was glad he could come away with both arms intact, at least. Lesson learned; don't underestimate the snakes.

He'll continue his limping as soon as he figures out where to go next.]

[Despite the lame situation he's in, Cloud's kind of amused at this kid trying so hard to help him...]

I'll go there. [ He nods over one of the apartments. ] It should be fine.

[was just crossing over the hall but gives you a look over]

What happened to you?

[conflicts]

Snake. A big one.

[ticking]

Kill it?

[You're getting a worried look here, Cloud.]

Do you want me to try to heal that for you?

[She's gesturing at the marks. She's not sure how well her healing would go.]

[conflicts]

[Oh, Aerith, he's so glad he didn't go with you. ;; That snake was totally unsafe.

He glances at the marks for a moment before deciding.]

No, I can handle it. It's just sore.

[She looks at him for a moment before deciding not to push it any further - if he needed to be healed, he knew he could come to her.

Hopefully she could still heal. She should really test that out.

So she decides to ask him about things she's been wondering about since arriving and seeing he was there with her.]

Cloud, what happened after I left? I mean, were you able to stop Meteor?

[The most important thing, obviously.]

[He glances over at the apartment he went to, down the hall.]

There's a large snake in one of the rooms there. Don't go in without a partner.

A large snake...maybe I can help you after you've recovered some.

[someone just really needs to claim this corner of Apartment A for passing out in. Senji's slumped down with his head resting against the wall, eyes closed as blood trickles down his face from a cut on one of the two large goose-egg bumps on his head. The other is hidden by his hair, but it's also matted with blood if anyone's checking.]

[conflicts]

[That guy looks worse than he does.]

[blinks his eye open though it takes a minute to focus on him]

Wha--yeah.

[ I guess this is a good time to have been heading out. ]

[Cloud looks up. Hey, it's that guy. He winces as he shifts, putting more weight on the good leg, trying to stand up a little straighter.

He gestures towards the apartment down the hallway.]

There's a large snake in one of the rooms there. Don't go in without help.

[ Moving over to help Cloud with his weight, jeez. ]

I'll remember that, but for now we must get you inside.

[pyxising]

[stopping short when he sees Cloud; sure does recognize him]

[conflicts]

[Not sure what to assume... he just assumes it's because he looks beat up.]

There's a large snake down that way. Be careful.

[. . . face kinda falls, but nods]

I'll be careful. . . . you don't recognize me, do you.

[...Jolts to attention and moves towards him]

You're-- you're in awful shape, stop trying to move on your own!

[conflicts]

[That gets him to pause, at least.]

I can manage. I just need to get out of the hallway.

[looks like people are on that, glances behind him to make sure nothing's charging up after him before following]
