It's a silly one. About a man who made an uneven table. So he sawed off the other ends to make it even. Unfortunately, he sawed off too much on one end and it continued to be uneven. This continued until he was left with nothing but the surface.

In the end, he had to prop the table up on stones.

... and it was still uneven.
