I was told that food in storage has most likely been blessed already, but it's probably a good idea to ask someone first, at least for now.

Large lizards-- winged ones? Like wyverns?

Er, really large flying reptiles. With claws. And teeth. I'd say they have riders, too, but I suppose the wild ones wouldn't, right?

Maybe that is what they are? I haven't seen any for myself yet, I was asked not to go to dangerous places alone.

Wyverns are pretty scary, that's probably a good idea.

But even though they are scary, they can have riders?

Yeah. I don't really know much about it? It might be something like pegasi, where they're pair bonded...

We didn't have a lot of wyverns on our side, and I never got to talk to the one fellow we did have, so I can't say anything for sure.

That could be! Nonetheless, the wild ones wouldn't be used to people, and the tame ones will never like me, so I'd much rather avoid them.

I don't know if they'd understand if I told them I promise not to shoot at them. Even if they did, they're all from Bern, so who knows how trusting they'd be in general. People from Bern are a tough sort, so I imagine wyverns would be as well.
